FOUR YEAR OLDS
The four year-old class will be offered five days per week, Monday through Friday. This is to prepare them to enter kindergarten the next year. Like all our classes, it will be small in size to offer lots of one-on-one attention from the teacher and assistant teacher. The ratio will be no higher than 12 students to each teacher/assistant.
Sample Daily Schedule 8:00 - 8:30: Student arrive and are greeted 8:30 - 8:50: Music and Movement 8:50 - 9:10: Group Activity 9:10 - 9:30: Learning Activity (pre-writing, pre-reading, pre-math) 9:30 - 10:15: Snack, Clean-up and Wash Hands 10:15 - 10:45: Outdoor Play (Indoor Large Motor Skill Games in inclement weather) 10:45 - 11:00: Bible Story of the Day 11:00 - 11:30: Activities at Learning Center of choice 11:30 - 11:45: Clean-up, end of day activities 11:45 - 12:00: Pick-up and goodbyes
