Guilherme Paulus was enlisted in the Forbes billionaires because of Brazil’s unique tourism attraction under his influence. He founded the company CVC Brasil Operadora e Agencia de Viagens S.A. in 1972.

The CVC proliferated under Guilherme Paulus’ leadership. It became the Latin America’s largest tour operator. The GJP Hotels and Resorts has over 15 hotels around the Brazil airports, which are under his leadership. He once worked for IBM as an intern in his early 20s.

The GJP Hotels and Resorts has helped the country host a considerable number of visitors and tourists during the World Soccer Cup which was organized in 2014. In 2016, there was the Summer Olympics that also contributed to the hosting.

These times made Guilherme Paulus be included in the Forbes magazine’s billionaires list. He has now moved Webjet airline to Gol. Being over sixty-eight years, he is now the Chairman of the Board of a tourism operator, Paulus. However, he still has some shares with CVC.
